I'm trying to live a much more frugal life style. Spending less, making do with what I have and basically enjoying a much stressful lifestyle. Hopefully by keeping a record of it all here will make me much more accountable and help keep me on track should some  catch my eye and make me want to spend. As a Britt transplanted in America it blows my mind how wasteful society is on this side of the pond.

Today is my first day and I'm happy to say it was a no spend day. We all have to start somewhere don't we? I have taken stock of what is in the pantry and freezer. I plan on buying as little as possible and wasting nothing. Too often I have found something lurking at the back of the fridge and throwing it out. I dread to think how much money I have wasted doing this. But no more.

  4. Good luck! Keeping a record definitely keeps me accountable. If we all do little things then they'll all add up to something big :-)

  5. The tomatoes turned out well. Sort of thick and juicy. We put them in oil with chillies.
